Wildest Dreams competition: my top 3

12th November 2010

Thank you to everyone who entered the competition by writing to me. It was wonderful to hear about your dreams. Happy birthday to Amy Harbinson, whose birthday is today. Entrants included: Lizzi, Debbie, Pinal, Kate, Sitara, Amy, Malutka, Nia, Georgia, Lizzie, Jess, Catriona, Nina and Abigail.

It was hard to choose my favourites. Hard! It took AGES! Anyway, here are my top 3. They'll go forward to the Grand Draw, along with the top 3s from Sarah Webb and Judi Curtin, and we will pick the overall winner from there next week. Good luck, girls!

Georgia

Ever since I was little I have wanted to have wings so i could see underneath the soles of my shoes. The gracefullness of it would be the start, but the enjoyment in the air would be a once in a life time opportunity. It isn't very likely to happen, but if it did miraculously happen, the places i would go would be around my little farm. Seeing the animals from a magnificent hieght would be spectacular! On top of this I would also love to be a writter for children about promblems and dilemmas were you have no one to turn to and then they end up getting their dream guy or their best friends back. When i am older I plan to get a part time job and in the spare time i will write diary stories or promblem stories. That is my wildest dream or dreams!!!

Abigail

My wildest dream is to be able to vist Romania. A country in Europe that has quite a lot of people in poverty. However, this didn't stop my godparents going. I have not seen or contacted them for years now and I feel a part of my heart is lost. But they went there for a good cause. They made an old house into an orphanage for children and they have now adopted two children. All this has made me proud to be their goddaughter. This is not just my wildest dream but the dream which is on top of "my dreams" list! Just to see them for one more time would make me happy. Just once.

Sitara

I dream of being fashion designer, just like Crow. I've dreamed about this since i was 8 and I think i'm getting better at it (though I think it'll take a while to be as good as Crow). I'm 13 now and still love designing. I dream to one day show my own collection at fashion week and to make beautiful things... I dream that one day I'll be able to buy whatever I want and to design and make whatever I want. I still need to learn to cut and sew but i've made a start. My parents bought me a sewing machine for Christmas a few years ago and I've been experimenting. I love these books and hope one day I'll be able to fufill my wildest dreams
