While I was writing Beads, Boys and Bangles, I went on a research trip to New York with my stepdaughters (oh, the hardship of being a writer ...) for Sequins, Stars and Spotlights.

Here are some of the highlights of that trip. Imagine a leisurely walk from the bottom tip of Manhattan island up to Central Park.
