Juding this competition has been the hardest thing I've done for ages - there were so many great entries. Thank you to all of you who entered, and well done!
Anyway, there had to be a winner in the end, and it is:
Elise, aged 10, from Australia for her short story. I chose Elise because her story was atmospheric and well written - and she managed to tell it in very few words, which is a real art. Congratulations, Elise!
2nd prize goes to Sara, aged 13, from the UK, for her trailer. It has some beautiful images and best of all, I loved the perfectly chosen music from Jack Johnson
The 3 runners up prizes go to:
Hazal, aged 15, from the UK, for her short story set in Ireland
Kate, aged 16, from Australia, for her book cover
Annie-Rose, aged 13, from the UK, for her ghost story set in Cornwall
And finally, honorable mentions go to Sarah, 14, from Driffield; Orli, 12, from Finchley; Oreolu, 15; and Anja, from Slovenia, for their stories, pictures and even a haiku!
